National Simplify Your Life Week
This week is National Simplify your Life Week. To celebrate, we want to offer you a few tips to help you get started.
Declutter
Seriously, studies have shown that the more clutter you have around the more cluttered your brain becomes, which in turn can make you feel stressed. Start one item at a time and rid yourself of anything that doesn’t provide your life with something positive. If you still feel the need to hold on to some things, use drawer dividers and tubs or bins to help you stay organized.
Plan
Plan your week out ahead of time. Prep and plan your meals for the week on the weekends, this will save you time before and after work, not to mention a few calories from eating the most handy of meals. Plan your outfits on Sunday so that you are not scrambling in the mornings. Finally, plan your to-do list, not only should you schedule the things that you have to do but pencil in some relaxation time and a break or two to reward yourself.
Get Out
Turn your screens off, go outside, and get some exercise. Checking out of the digital world will help you relax and clear your mind. Paired with the Vitamin-D and the endorphins that sun and exercise supply, you may find yourself with more energy and improved all around health.
