Stain Fighting Secrets
Stain Fighting Secrets
As uniform experts, we see different types of stains every day. It is our job to remove stains while using cleaning treatments that maintain the life of your uniform. Our stain removal process involves an industrial strength cleaning process, but we happen to know some handy secrets that you can use every day. Through our uniform rental program, we take care of the stains on your work uniforms. But what happens when you get a stain on your favorite shirt when you are out to dinner or in the “man cave” with the guys working on that fixer-upper you bought? Try some of our stain removal tips:
- Ink — Apply some hairspray and launder as usual.
- Rust on White Shirts — Use some lemon juice and salt on the stain, then place out in the sun to bleach. Launder as usual.
- Grease — Sprinkle talcum powder on the wet stain, let dry and brush off any remaining powder. Launder as usual.
- Blood — Apply some 3% hydrogen peroxide on the stain. Let it bubble, rinse, repeat. Launder as usual.
